Before you start

  • Know your property name as it appears in Riskonnect
  • A brief description of the litigated event
  • Any documents you have, such as lawsuits, attorney representation letters, correspondence with counsel, photos, and internal incident reports

From the portal homepage, click Report Incident. Litigation events use the same form as incidents.

Fill in all the information you have.

Click the search icon next to the Property field, search for your property, then click Select next to it. See Finding Your Property for help.

Click Save and Continue to move to the next page.

Select Company Property Damage or Litigation as the claim type, then click Save and Continue.

Under Incident Only, select Yes. This tells Risk Management the event isn’t being reported to our insurance carriers as a claim.

Fill in the information you have on each page, then click Save and Continue.

Attach your documents, then submit the report. This works the same way as the last three steps of Report an Incident.

Upload these if you have them:

  1. Lawsuits or attorney representation letters
  2. Correspondence with counsel
  3. Photos
  4. Internal incident reports
  5. The Stockbridge/CVA Litigation Report. The template is on the portal’s Templates page.
  6. Any other important information
